Ancient cities and wild nature

There are many things to do in Western Anatolia, a region engulfing some of Turkey’s best cities and attractions. Along the Aegean coast, places like Kusadasi are the gateway to beaches and water activities, while Selcuk and Izmir lead to the ancient city of Ephesus and other historical sites. Pamukkale contains natural travertine pools and the ruins of Hierapolis, while farther east, the Cappadocia region boasts wild volcanic landscapes perfect for hiking or sailing above in a hot-air balloon.
